Update planners with Agenda and HW

1. Announcements:
   • Students should stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, then listen QUIETLY to the announcements while they update their planners.
2. New Seats- no negotiating!
3. Weekly Goals
   • Write 2 new academic goals for this week on page 42.
4. Literary Analysis: Imagery
   • Follow the directions to practice identifying imagery and sensory details.
5. Using Metaphors
   • Work with a partner to complete the two practice metaphors.
   • With your partner, write 2 metaphors for each example.
6. Test Practice- Ticket out the Door!!!
   • Answer questions 1 and 2 AND rewrite the example sentence adding two examples of figurative language.
